Hey y'all! Ryan and I are going to try and post tutorials for all your Wiki needs!
So to upload cast photos, what you're going to want to make sure you have first is properly formatted photos.
The one that goes on the contestants personal page should look like this:
You get these ones by just looking up the Survivor player you need a picture of on Google, and as long as its close enough to this size/shape, you're looking good so far!
If its not that size/shape, but you want to use a specific picture, you can crop it down to proper size here http://www.fotor.com/features/crop.html.
Once you have the picture ready, file it under the appropriate name.
So let's say this is Ryan's cast photo for Season 12, it would be filed:
Ryan_S12_contestant.jpg (the .jpg part may also be .png, doesn't matter).
Did you do that for all of your cast photos?
Great! You're halfway done!
Now you need to make the actual avatar cast photos, aka the ones that go on your season's page, the homepage, etc.
You know, the really small square shaped ones.
So to make those, you're going to want to take all of the pictures you just made, and crop them into those cute small square shapes. How, you ask? Again, you can go here http://www.fotor.com/features/crop.html and crop down your photos to a perfect square. Under the "Crop" heading, there is a drop-down menu with options such as "Freeform" and "Same as Original" , followed by "Square". Click that option, because that will ensure that your photo stays a perfect square no matter what size you crop it down to. It should end up looking like this:
It may not be exactly this small, or big, but either way it should end up looking like a perfect square, and more or less like this picture of golden boy Reynold.
Once you have the picture ready, you must again file it under the appropriate names.
So, if this is Ryan's cast photo for Season 12, it would be filed:
Ryan_S12.jpg (the .jpg part may also be .png, doesn't matter).
Did you follow all of the instructions?
ARE YOU SURE!?!?!?
Ok fine I believe you.
You're ready to upload!
Head over to http://tumblr-survivor.wikia.com/wiki/Special:MultipleUpload, and upload all of your glorious work!
If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!
