Ari Stripey was a contestant on Tumblr Survivor: Galapagos, Tumblr Survivor: Machu Picchu, Tumblr Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains II, and Tumblr Survivor: Jordan Pines.

Ari also returned in Tumblr Survivor: Uncharted Islands under the alias of Riley Peters as part of a secret twist which was revealed at the end of the season.

Tumblr Survivor: Galapagos

Ari Stripey was a member of the all-newbie tribe Pinzón from the beginning of the game and remained there through the first Amulet of Abduction play. Ari quickly formed a majority alliance with Allyn Eichner, Catherine Worrall, and Kev Castilla, which was soon titled the Darth Vadet Alliance. This alliance, though it had a great deal of potential, was not able to actualize its dreams due to the tribe swap on day 9.

On the new Pinzón tribe, Ari formed an alliance with the old Pinzón members and most of the old Marchena members, and attempted to vote out Adam at the next tribal council; however, this failed and Sagar D was blindsided. At the next vote, the old Marchena members stuck with the remaining old Pinzón and successfully voted out Adam, and Ari was sent over to the new Floreana tribe as a result of Sole Malloy playing his Amulet of Abduction and abducting Nathan. 

At Floreana, Ari rejoined their old tribemates Catherine, Josh, and Kev. Ari and Catherine were approached by Mary and Jake B, who proposed an alliance of the four of them as well as Michelle and Kev. However, this alliance proved to be false, and Catherine was blindsided, leaving Ari with Kev and Josh as their only allies. To try to gain numbers, they planned to work with Alf and Yap to begin eliminating the old Floreana members, but Alf and Yap did not vote with them and the alliance was severed when Ari won the Amulet of Abduction twice and used it to abduct Sole and Sarah, in an attempt to gain reliable numbers. 

On Day 37, it was clear that Ari was seen as a threat by most of the Floreana tribe. Once Sole confirmed that Ari was the intended target for the next vote, he revealed that he had won a hidden immunity idol at the last reward challenge and intended to play it to save them. Sole, Ari, Kev, and Sarah were able to successfully blindside Jake B when all votes against Ari were negated by Sole's idol.

At the merge, Ari tried to form a majority alliance with the remaining original Pinzón members and original Marchena members minus Alf and Yap, in the hopes of eliminating original Floreana members. However, Ari's attempts to stay alive failed, and they were voted out on Day 40.

Tumblr Survivor: Machu Picchu

Ari Stripey was originally a member of the Favorites tribe (Ekkeko). On Day 1, when the list twist was revealed, Ari was moved to the new Supay tribe, along with Dylan and Case. Ari chose to bring Dom with them to Supay.

When they arrived at Supay, Ari formed an alliance with the other three former Ekkeko members, and also made attempts to become friendly with Brandon and Sara in the hopes that one of them would flip on the other former Chaska members and vote out one of the fans at the first tribal council. This did not happen, and the tribe went to rocks, where Casey, Dylan, and Ari were the first three safe and Jenny was eliminated.

On Day 10, Ari won the reward challenge and was sent to Machu Picchu, where they were able to reconnect with their early ally Sole Malloy.

On Day 14, when the first tribe swap occurred, Supay was dissolved and Ari became a member of the new Chaska tribe, along with all of their former-Ekkeko alliance. Because Mitchell Kalabang was the sole Fan on this tribe, early plans were made to vote him out, but when Ari, Dom, and Dylan learned that Casey was considering flipping on them, they attempted to vote her out instead. However, at NuChaska's first tribal council, Dylan was blindsided, and Ari and Dom found themselves clearly at the bottom of the tribe.

On Day 23, the Jeopardy Swap brought them new allies. Ari quickly made an alliance with their four new tribe members: Sole, Candace, Sara, and Abel. This alliance was titled Navy and became Ari's main alliance moving forward in the game. Navy also planned to reconnect with Dom and Bridget whenever possible.

At the merge, Navy began to work with Dom and Bridget (forming a new alliance called Lasagna) and voted out Erin, who became the first member of the jury. (Coincidentally, Erin was the only person who Ari voted out successfully on their first try during this season.) Ari also began to consider working with Mitchell, who had ties to Dom and Bridget. However, the rest of Navy did not trust Mitchell or his bond with Bridget, and decided to vote him out instead of Marko. Ari was told that Marko would be the target at the next vote, but they were hoodwinked yet again and Bridget was blindsided. Ari reaffirmed their commitment to Navy and made amends with Candace, Abel, and Sole despite being lied to by them; however, their trust lay primarily with Dom, Sara, and Wesley.

After Bridget was sent to Ponderosa, Dom was ready to vote out Sole at the next tribal council, but Ari still felt loyalty to Sole and was unwilling to vote him out until after Marko was gone, as well as wanting to wait until Sole became the biggest threat left in the game so that Sara would be on their side in voting him out. This was fulfilled, with Marko and Sole becoming the next two members of the jury. In addition, Ari had success at the Auction preceding Sole's elimination, finding a hidden immunity idol in their salad. They kept this a secret, planning to use it to enact revenge upon the Navy members who had lied to them, and began to feel optimistic about the potential of their game going forward. However, at the next vote, Ari was blindsided yet again and Dom was voted out, leaving them with only two true allies, Sara and Wesley.

At this point, Ari intended to vote out Candace due to her being a threat, and began to try to solidify a plan with Nour and Wesley. Unfortunately, this move was not possible because Candace won immunity, and when Nour told Candace about Ari's attempts to target her, she enacted a split-vote plan with Hunter and the remainder of Navy. Candace's nullification of Ari's vote at the Day 52 Tribal Council triggered their idol play, keeping them safe but sending Wesley home on the revote.

Despite returning to Machu Picchu to search for another immunity idol and spending seven hours on the next immunity challenge, Ari was voted out at the next tribal council after another split vote and became the eighth member of the jury.

Tumblr Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains II

Ari Stripey started the season on the Heroes Tribe, along with two of their former castmates and alliance partners, Dom and Bridget. The three Machu Picchu returnees were regarded with suspicion by their other tribemates from the first day, meaning that although Ari tried to make several alliances early on, particularly with Jenna and Hector, they were left out of a lot of the strategic happenings in the beginning of the game and knew that they would be in danger if the Heroes tribe went to Tribal Council several times. Luckily, after the first double tribal council, the Heroes won the next three immunity challenges and Ari remained safe until after the first tribe swap.
