Nicole was a contestant on Tumblr Survivor: Cook Islands and Tumblr Survivor: Redemption Island.
Season 1 Cook Islands[]
In season 1 Nicole was new to tumblr and could not figure out how to use the site which led to her unfortunate vote off after trying to respond to a private ask and mistakenly posting her response publicly telling people to turn against the person who was running the tribe. Nicole was voted out 4th.
Season 5 Redemption Island[]
Nicole started season 5 off with high hopes. She had gotten herself into a majority alliance between Andrew, Jake B, Bradley, Owen, Justin, and Herself. Due to inactive people such as Laura and Meg, Nicole was able to make it past the first couple votes no problem.
The round Andrew got voted out of the game was a turning point for Nicole. She had been laying low hoping to get by on charm and personality when Jake B and Justin informed her that the next vote was not going down as she had thought. The plan was supposed to be for everyone to vote for Isolina since she was on the outs of the 6 person alliance but everyone now wanted Andrew voted out of the game. Nicole was almost blindsided had Jake B not come to her before the vote and tell her the whole situation. Nicole and Jake B bonded over the fact that they were Todd and Courtney and BAM... a final two deal was made.
Ever since the Andrew vote Nicole only trusted Jake B. The two of them discussed wanting Isolina out of this game due to her new found closeness with Owen and Justin. Jake B, Nicole, Bradley, Owen and Justin were all on board to vote for Isolina until a shocking tribal council reveal where the votes were tied 3(Brad)- 3(Isolina). Owen and Justin had turned on Jake B. Bradley won the duel against Isolina and stayed in the game.
This was the point in the game that Nicole became the swing vote. Owen and Justin were begging her to vote for Jake B. Jake B had gone on vacation and was no where to be found. Then by a miracle, a tribe swap happened. Nicole, Jake B, Bradley, and Justin all ended up on the same tribe and Nicole knew she was golden.
On the switched tribe Nicole was also the swing vote. Justin wanted her to vote with him, Jake, and Sarah... while Nicole wanted to stick with Bradley and Jake B. However, Nicole used her charm to make Justin think she was still on board with him, Jake, and Sarah. This led Justin to believe Nicole when she told him Bradley had an Idol and so Justin, Sarah, and Jake split the votes giving Nicole, Bradley, and Jake B the majority to get Justin voted out.
Once Justin was gone, Jake was a clear victim for the next vote and it was down to Nicole, Bradley, and Jake B left on the tanui tribe... just praying for a merge to happen.
The merge occured the next round and Nicole, Jake B, and Bradley were clearly on the outs. With little way to manuever through the first merge vote, Bradley was sent packing and Nicole and Jake B were left in this game. One Solid Duo. After a terrible family emergency, Nicole found herself paying little attention to the game from this point forward. Jake B managed to get Nicole and him through two whole rounds before Jake B was eventually taken out for being a mastermind strategist. Nicole had also won immunity in one of the two rounds which helped her survive.
Nicole was alone in the game. She had unfortunately been too proccupied with family events in life that when it came down to her trying to survive the final 5 vote, she just didn't have the time to strategyze and stay in the game. This also resulted in her missing the vote deadline and self-voting at final 5. What a tradgedy.
In the end, Nicole is best known for her legendary alliance known by the name of "The Terrible Trio". This was made up of Nicole, Jake B, and Bradley. Being the only sane ngapuhi members left after Andrew was voted off, the three of them came together and were a force to be reckon with until the merge.
